Many Improvements

Yesterday was a busy day for the website. I was able to add this blog page, my resume, and a contact me page and get the site looking a little more polished. 

I am using Weebly's built in blogging tool to manage this blog, which so far is pretty simple. I just wish there was an easier way to update blog posts without editing the site each time. I used Scribd to host my PDF version of my resume and they provide source code for embedding the document in your page. I decided to add a contact me page to have an easy place for people to get ahold of me. I know that there are links to connect with me on the home page, but people have a habit of looking for a Contact Me or Contact Us link, so I thought it would be helpful.

Now I just need to work on the home page, which oddly enough is still not done. I am struggling with how I want it to look as it is the first impression visitors to the site will get. I am thinking about creating a short bio of sorts to put there. I moved the Twitter widget to the blog page and off of the home page to give it a cleaner look. Plus it fits more in line with this content. 

Once I get the home page completed, I think I will be close to done, with phase 1 at least. I can then start thinking about expanding the website further while I blog a
